Explore the Admin Hub

Admin

The Admin Hub is your command center for running an organization in StandShare. It replaces the older flat sidebar of admin pages with a single Admin Hub link in the top navigation and a tabbed workspace behind it.

Open the Admin Hub

  1. Sign in with an Admin account.
  2. Click Admin Hub in the top navigation (primary links for Admin are Dashboard, Events, and Admin Hub).

You land on the Hub at /admin/hub with five tabs across the top — each with an icon, a label, and a one-line description so you can scan without reading everything.

The Five Tabs

Each tab groups a related set of admin tools. Icon containers are tinted with the tab's color at rest so sections are easy to spot.

People (violet)

  • Featured: Users & Roles, Families
  • Supporting: Approval Queue, Workers, Worker Performance, Training

Use this tab when you are adding users, changing roles, or reviewing worker activity.

Events (amber)

  • Featured: Events, Create Event
  • Supporting: Event Reports, Season Planning, Stands (for venues with layouts), Settlement Templates

Use this tab for event lifecycle work — from creating and scheduling to reports.

Finance (emerald)

  • Featured: Scholarships, Financial Reports
  • Supporting: Ledger, Payees, Worker Performance (financial view), 990 Prep, Audit Log

Use this tab for everything money. The Payees card is a direct link to /admin/payees, the standalone payee directory.

Content (sky)

  • Featured: Announcements, Library
  • Supporting: Email Templates, FAQ, Documents

Use this tab for the pages and messages families see — things you publish, not things you configure.

Org Settings (slate)

  • Featured: Organization Settings, Billing
  • Supporting: Branding, Landing Page, Join Policy, Tiers, Integrations, API Tokens

Branding and Landing Page live here — they are configuration of the org, not content, so they moved from the Content tab.

Each tab splits its cards into two tiers:

  • Featured cards — horizontal layout, two per row, for the 1–2 most-used tools in the section. Larger hit target, more descriptive text.
  • Supporting cards — compact vertical layout, three per row, for everything else in the section.

The split is opinionated. If a tool moves from a drawer into a page later, it picks up a Hub card. If you cannot find something, check the overflow menu — it still lists every admin page under an Admin heading.

Permission Gating

Tabs and cards only appear for users who have the permission needed to use them. If a user is demoted mid-session, a toast explains why the tab vanished and redirects them back to the Dashboard.

See Platform Navigation Map for the full permission matrix.

What Moved to the Dashboard

The admin overview (account balance, pending scholarships, document compliance, upcoming events, activity feed, quick actions) still lives on the regular Dashboard — the first primary link in the top navigation. The Admin Hub is specifically for deep admin work; the Dashboard is where you land for a daily summary.
