Get started as a Treasurer
Welcome to StandShare! As a treasurer, you play a key role in keeping your organization's finances transparent and on track. This guide will walk you through your first five minutes in the app so you know exactly where everything lives.
Your First Login
- Open the link your admin sent you (it looks like
yourorg.standshare.app). - Sign in with the email and password you set up during registration.
- After logging in, you land on the Dashboard.
If you belong to more than one organization, you will see an organization picker after entering your credentials. Choose the organization you want to manage.
What the Dashboard Shows You
Your dashboard gives you a snapshot of the organization's health:
- Current Balance -- the total across all family accounts.
- Recent Transactions -- the latest credits and debits.
- Active Scholarship Requests -- how many requests are waiting for review.
- Document Compliance -- percentage of required documents that have been submitted.
- Upcoming Events -- the next concession stand shifts on the calendar.
Key Workflows at a Glance
As a treasurer you will spend most of your time in three areas:
| Workflow | What you do | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Scholarship Review | Approve, deny, and process payment for scholarship requests from families. | Admin menu > Manage Scholarships |
| Financial Reports | View family balances, transactions, scholarship summaries, outstanding balances, and audit logs. | Admin menu > Reports |
| Fund Balances | Monitor family account balances and understand how settlements affect them. | Admin menu > Reports > Family Balances tab |
Finding Your Way Around
As a treasurer your primary links are Dashboard, Events, and Scholarships. Everything else sits behind the overflow icon next to the notification bell — Transactions, Documents, Reports, Manage Families, 990 Prep, Calendar, and the rest. Treasurer-only tools appear under an Admin heading in that menu.
Your avatar in the top-right opens a menu with profile, org switcher (if you belong to more than one org), and sign-out.
On mobile, the primary links collapse into the overflow menu as well. Tap the overflow icon to see everything.
