Share feedback or report a problem
This guide explains how any StandShare user can submit feedback, report issues, or suggest improvements through the built-in feedback system.
Who Can Submit Feedback?
All StandShare users can submit feedback, regardless of their role. Whether you are an Admin, Coordinator, Family Lead, Guest Worker, or Treasurer, your feedback helps improve the platform.
Access the Feedback Form
There are several ways to reach the feedback form:
From the Help Menu
- Click the Help icon (question mark) in the top navigation bar or sidebar.
- Select Submit Feedback from the menu.
From the Settings Page
- Navigate to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Submit Feedback link.
Direct Link
You can also navigate directly to the feedback page from any Help Center page by clicking the submit feedback link in the "Need Help?" section.
Describe Your Issue or Suggestion
The feedback form has the following fields:
Feedback Type
Select the type that best describes your submission:

| Bug Report | Something is broken or not working as expected. |
| Feature Request | You have an idea for a new feature or improvement. |
| Question | You have a question that the Help Center does not answer. |
| General Feedback | Any other comment, compliment, or concern. |
Subject
Enter a brief summary of your feedback (e.g., "Settlement preview not loading" or "Request: export event calendar to PDF").
Description
Provide as much detail as you can:
- For bug reports: Describe what you were trying to do, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. Include the page or feature where the issue occurred.
- For feature requests: Describe the capability you would like and why it would be useful.
- For questions: Explain what you are trying to accomplish so the support team can provide the most helpful response.
The more detail you provide, the faster the team can understand and address your feedback. Include specific event names, dates, or error messages if applicable.
Screenshot (Optional)
If applicable, attach a screenshot showing the issue or the area of the app you are referencing:
- Click Attach Screenshot or drag and drop an image file.
- Supported formats: PNG, JPG, GIF.
Submit Your Feedback
- Review your entries to make sure they are clear and complete.
- Click Submit Feedback.
- You will see a confirmation message: "Thank you! Your feedback has been submitted."
Your feedback is assigned a reference number that you can use if you need to follow up.
What Happens After You Submit
- Acknowledgment -- Your feedback is logged in the system and a confirmation is displayed immediately.
- Review -- An Admin or support team member reviews all submitted feedback periodically.
- Triage -- Bug reports are prioritized by severity. Feature requests are collected and reviewed during planning cycles.
- Follow-Up -- If the team needs more information, they may contact you via the email address associated with your account.
- Resolution -- Once addressed, you may receive a notification that your feedback has been resolved (depending on your notification preferences).
You do not need to submit the same feedback multiple times. Each submission is tracked and will be reviewed. If you have additional information to add, submit a new feedback entry and reference the original subject line.
Frequently Asked Questions About Feedback
Can I see the status of my feedback?
The current version does not include a feedback tracking dashboard for end users. If you need an update, contact your organization's Admin.
Who reads my feedback?
Feedback is visible to Admins and the StandShare support team. It is not shared with other users.
Is my feedback anonymous?
No. Feedback is associated with your user account so the team can follow up if needed. However, your feedback is only visible to Admins, not to other users.
