Need help staffing events? Add a partner organization.

Admin Coordinator

Trusted partnerships let two NPOs share workers with each other for concession stand events. Once a partnership is active, either organization can invite the other to send workers to their events — or hand off full event operations when needed.

Before you start

  • You must know the exact name of the other organization as it appears in StandShare.
  • The other organization must also be an NPO registered in StandShare.
  • Partnerships require acceptance from the other side before either org can send collaboration invitations.

Send a partnership invitation

  1. Navigate to Partnerships from the main sidebar.
  2. Click Add Partner.
  3. In the search field, type the name of the organization you want to partner with and select them from the results.
  4. Optionally add a short note to help the other organization's coordinator understand the context (e.g., "We often work the same stadium events").
  5. Click Send Invitation.

The other organization's admins and coordinators will receive a notification. The partnership appears in your list with Pending status until they respond.

If the organization you are looking for does not appear in search results, they may not be registered in StandShare yet. Reach out to them directly and ask them to create an account first.


What happens next

The receiving organization's admins and coordinators will see the invitation in their Partnerships list. They can accept or decline it.

AcceptedPartnership becomes Active. Either org can now invite the other to collaborate on events.
DeclinedPartnership shows as Declined. You can send a new invitation after the situation is resolved.

Once active, both organizations can see each other in their partner list and send event collaboration invitations freely.


Accept an incoming partnership invitation

If another organization has invited you to partner with them:

  1. Navigate to Partnerships from the main sidebar.
  2. Find the invitation with Pending status in your list.
  3. Review the organization name and any note they included.
  4. Click Accept or Decline.

If you accept, the partnership becomes Active immediately. If you decline, the other organization is notified and the invitation is closed.


Dissolve a partnership

If you no longer want to collaborate with a partner organization:

  1. Navigate to Partnerships.
  2. Find the active partnership you want to end.
  3. Click the Actions menu (three-dot icon) and select Dissolve Partnership.
  4. Confirm the action.
warning

Dissolving a partnership does not cancel active event collaborations that are already in progress — those are honored until they complete. It only prevents new collaboration invitations between the two organizations going forward.

Past partnerships are kept in the system for audit and history purposes. If you want to re-establish the partnership later, either organization can send a new invitation.
