Check the status of your scholarship request

After submitting a scholarship request, you can monitor its progress from the Scholarships page. This guide explains how to find your requests, understand each status, and check payment details.

View your requests

  1. Log in to StandShare.
  2. Click Scholarships in the top navigation bar.
  3. Scroll down to the Your Requests section. All of your scholarship requests are listed here, with the most recent at the top.

Each request card shows:

  • Purpose -- The description you provided when submitting the request.
  • Status badge -- A colored label indicating the current status.
  • Recipient -- The student the request was submitted for ("For: [student name]").
  • Payee -- The organization or vendor that will receive payment.
  • Requested date -- When the request was submitted.
  • Amount -- The dollar amount requested, displayed on the right side of the card.

Understand the status values

Your scholarship request will move through the following statuses:

PENDINGYellowYour request has been submitted and is awaiting review by an administrator or treasurer.
APPROVEDGreenYour request has been approved and payment is being processed.
DENIEDRedYour request was not approved. A denial reason is displayed below the request details.
PAIDBluePayment has been completed using the method you selected.

Check payment details

  • For approved or paid requests, the corresponding debit transaction will appear on your Transaction History page with the type Scholarship.
  • For denied requests, the denial reason is shown directly on the request card (e.g., "Reason: Insufficient account balance" or "Reason: Documentation required").

Receive status notifications

StandShare automatically sends you a notification when your request status changes. You can view these on the Notifications page or via email if you have email notifications enabled.

Notification types include:

  • Scholarship Approved -- Your request was approved and payment is in progress.
  • Scholarship Denied -- Your request was denied, with the reason included.
  • Scholarship Paid -- Payment has been completed.

If your request is denied, review the denial reason and address any issues. You can submit a new request at any time by clicking + New Scholarship Request.
