Send platform-wide broadcast messages

Platform Admin

Platform broadcasts let you send email communications to tenant administrators across the platform. You can target all tenants or select specific organizations. The broadcast composer walks you through a three-step process: selecting a template, choosing recipients, and reviewing before sending.

Accessing the Broadcast Composer

  1. Sign in to the Platform Admin panel.
  2. Navigate to Broadcasts (or select Compose Broadcast from the dashboard).

Step 1: Select a Template

The first step shows all active email templates available for broadcasts.

  1. Browse the list of active templates. Each template shows its name, status, category, and subject line.
  2. Click on a template to select it. The selected template is highlighted in blue.
  3. Click Next: Choose Recipients to proceed.

Only templates with an "active" status appear here. If you do not see any templates, you need to create and activate one first. Click the link to go to the template editor.

Step 2: Choose Recipients

Select who should receive the broadcast:

  • All tenant admins — sends to every administrator across all organizations on the platform.
  • Selected organizations — sends only to admins of the organizations you pick.

Selecting specific organizations

If you choose "Selected organizations":

  1. A searchable list of all organizations appears.
  2. Use the search box to find organizations by name or slug.
  3. Check the boxes next to the organizations you want to include.
  4. The count of selected organizations is shown at the bottom. Use Clear selection to start over.

Click Next: Review and Send to proceed.

Step 3: Review and Send

The review screen shows a summary of your broadcast:

  • Template — the selected template name
  • Subject — the email subject line
  • Recipients — whether you are sending to all admins or to selected organizations
  • Estimated recipient count — the system calculates how many individual admins will receive the email
  • Recipients preview — a scrollable list showing each recipient's name, email, and organization

Review everything carefully, then:

  1. Click Send Broadcast to send the emails.
  2. Wait for the confirmation message showing the number of recipients and a Send ID for your records.
  3. Click Back to Dashboard to return.

You can go back to any previous step using the Back button. No emails are sent until you explicitly click Send Broadcast in the final step.

After Sending

Once a broadcast is sent, you will see:

  • A green confirmation banner with the number of recipients
  • A Send ID that you can use for tracking or troubleshooting

The emails are queued for delivery and typically arrive within a few minutes.
