Find organizations to work with

Operator

The Tenant Discovery page helps operator organizations find and connect with nonprofit (NPO) organizations that are looking for venue partnerships. You can search for tenants, view their profiles, and send invitations to start working together.

Accessing Tenant Discovery

Go to Tenant Discovery from the operator sidebar. The page has two tabs:

  • Search Tenants -- Find and browse NPO organizations.
  • Sent Invites -- Track the status of invitations you have sent.

Searching for Organizations

Using the Search Form

The search form has three filters you can combine:

  • Search -- Type an organization name (or part of one) to find matching tenants.
  • City -- Filter by the city where the organization operates (for example, "Tampa").
  • Min Org Size -- Set a minimum number of members to focus on larger organizations.

Fill in any combination of filters and select Search. Leave all fields empty to browse all available organizations.

Reading the Results

Search results appear as cards, each showing:

  • Organization name -- With a verified badge if the organization has been verified by StandShare.
  • Org type -- A label indicating the type of organization (for example, "Youth Sports").
  • Location -- The city and region where the organization is based.
  • Description -- A brief summary of the organization.
  • Stats -- Number of members, active events, and completed events.

Each card has two buttons:

  • View Profile -- Opens a detailed profile modal.
  • Send Invite -- Opens the invitation dialog.

Pagination

If there are more than 20 results, use the Previous and Next buttons at the bottom to browse additional pages. The total number of matching organizations is displayed alongside the page controls.

Viewing an Organization's Profile

Select View Profile on any result card to open the profile modal. The profile shows:

  • Full organization details (name, type, location, size, event counts).
  • Verified status if applicable.
  • Intelligence Overview -- Additional data about the organization including venue history count and compliance score (when available).

From the profile modal, you can select Send Invite to invite the organization or Close to return to the search results.

Sending an Invite

To invite an organization to connect:

  1. Select Send Invite from either the result card or the profile modal.
  2. In the invite dialog, optionally write a message introducing your organization.
  3. Select Send Invite.

A success notification confirms the invite was sent. The organization will receive the invitation and can accept or decline.

Tracking Sent Invites

Select the Sent Invites tab to see all invitations you have sent. Each invite shows:

  • Organization name -- The tenant you invited.
  • Status -- A color-coded badge:
    • Pending (yellow) -- The organization has not yet responded.
    • Accepted (green) -- The organization accepted your invitation.
    • Declined (red) -- The organization declined.
  • Message -- The message you included with the invite, if any.
  • Dates -- When the invite was sent and when the organization responded (if applicable).

What Happens After an Invite Is Accepted

Once a tenant organization accepts your invitation, they appear in your compliance dashboard and can be assigned to events at your managed venues. You can then:

  • Set up compliance requirements for the organization.
  • Create venue notices that their workers need to acknowledge.
  • Assign their workers to events through the event management tools.

Tips

  • Use the City filter to find organizations near your venues.
  • Include a personalized message when sending invites -- it helps organizations understand why you are reaching out.
  • Check the Sent Invites tab periodically to follow up with organizations that have not responded.
  • Look at the Compliance Score in the intelligence overview to get a sense of how reliable an organization's workforce is.
