Verify worker credentials and compliance

Operator

As an operator, you need to ensure that workers at your managed venues meet all compliance requirements before they work events. This guide covers how to review individual worker compliance, track document status, and manage deadlines.

Accessing Worker Compliance

There are two ways to view worker compliance information:

  1. Operator Compliance page -- Go to Compliance in the operator sidebar, then select the Workers or Tenants tab.
  2. Event-level compliance dashboard -- When viewing an event, the compliance dashboard shows the status of every worker assigned to that event.

Event-Level Compliance Dashboard

When you open the compliance dashboard for a specific event, you see a summary of all assigned workers and their compliance status.

Summary Cards

At the top of the dashboard, four cards give you an at-a-glance overview:

  • Compliant -- Number of workers who meet all requirements (green).
  • Pending -- Number of workers who have outstanding items but are within the grace period (yellow).
  • Non-Compliant -- Number of workers who are missing required items past the deadline (red).
  • Compliance Rate -- The overall percentage of compliant workers.

Progress Bar

Below the summary cards, a progress bar shows the overall compliance rate visually. This updates as workers complete their requirements.

Filtering the Worker List

Use the status dropdown to filter the worker table:

  • All workers -- Show everyone assigned to the event.
  • Compliant only -- Show only workers who meet all requirements.
  • Pending only -- Show workers with outstanding items still within grace period.
  • Non-compliant only -- Show workers who are past deadline on one or more requirements.

Worker Table

The table shows each worker with:

  • Worker -- The worker's name.
  • Status -- A color-coded badge (Compliant, Pending, or Non-Compliant).
  • Missing -- The number of missing requirements, highlighted in red if any exist.
  • Expiring Soon -- The number of requirements that will expire soon, shown in amber.

Select any worker row or the Details button to drill into their individual compliance record.

Individual Worker Detail

The worker detail view shows a complete breakdown of that worker's compliance for the event.

What You See

  • Overall status -- The worker's compliance status with a color-coded badge.
  • Eligibility -- Whether the worker is currently eligible to work the event.
  • Missing requirements -- A list of specific requirements the worker has not yet fulfilled.
  • Expiring requirements -- Requirements that are fulfilled but will expire soon.
  • Completed requirements -- Requirements the worker has already satisfied.

Compliance Override

If you have override permissions, you can grant a temporary compliance override for a worker who cannot complete a requirement in time:

  1. Select Override Compliance on the worker detail view.
  2. Enter a reason for the override (required).
  3. Select Grant Override.

The override is logged for audit purposes and allows the worker to be assigned to the event despite not meeting all requirements. Use this sparingly and only when there is a legitimate reason.

Operator-Level Worker Compliance Rollup

On the main Compliance page under the Worker Compliance tab, you see aggregated compliance rates across all tenant organizations:

  • Identity Verified -- Percentage of workers who have completed identity verification.
  • Notices Acknowledged -- Percentage of workers who have acknowledged all required venue notices.

These percentages are shown per tenant, so you can quickly identify which organizations need to improve their worker compliance.

Managing Deadlines

Grace Periods

When you create venue notices or document requirements, you set a grace period -- the number of days workers have to complete the requirement after it becomes active. During the grace period, workers show as Pending rather than Non-Compliant.

Expiring Acknowledgments

If a venue notice has an expiry period, worker acknowledgments will lapse after the specified number of days. Workers whose acknowledgments are about to expire appear in the Expiring Soon column, giving you time to notify them.

Best Practices

  • Review the compliance dashboard before each event to ensure all assigned workers are compliant.
  • Use the Non-compliant only filter to quickly identify workers who need attention.
  • Set reasonable grace periods so workers have time to complete requirements without being flagged too early.
  • Monitor the Expiring Soon column regularly and remind workers to re-acknowledge notices before they lapse.
