Set a fundraising goal for your family

Family

Earnings goals help your family track fundraising progress toward a target amount for the season. When you set a goal, the dashboard shows a progress indicator so you can see how close you are at a glance.

Prerequisites

  • You must be signed in as a Family Lead or have a role with access to family settings.

Setting your earnings goal

  1. Navigate to Settings from the main navigation.
  2. Locate the Goals section.
  3. Enter your Earnings goal -- the dollar amount your family wants to earn this season.
  4. Optionally enter an Events goal -- the number of events your family aims to work.
  5. Click Save to store your goals.

Viewing progress on the dashboard

Once a goal is set, the dashboard displays a Goal Progress card showing:

  • Current earnings -- how much your family has earned so far this season
  • Earnings percent -- a progress bar showing the percentage toward your dollar goal
  • Events worked -- how many events your family has participated in
  • Events percent -- a progress bar showing the percentage toward your events goal (if set)

The progress data updates automatically as events are settled and earnings are credited to your family account.

Editing your goal

  1. Return to Settings and the Goals section.
  2. Change the earnings amount or events count.
  3. Click Save.

Your progress percentages recalculate immediately based on the updated targets.

Resetting your goal

To remove a goal entirely:

  1. Navigate to Settings and the Goals section.
  2. Clear the earnings and events fields (leave them blank or set to zero).
  3. Click Save.

The goal progress card will no longer appear on your dashboard until you set a new goal.

How earnings are calculated

Your current earnings reflect the total amount credited to your family account from event settlements during the current season. This includes:

  • Event commissions -- your family's share of stand revenue after fund deductions
  • Commission bonuses -- any bonus amounts applied during settlement

Scholarship disbursements, fees, and fund deductions are not counted toward your earnings goal -- only credits from events.

Tips

  • Set a realistic goal. Review your past season's earnings (visible in the earnings trend chart) to set an achievable target.
  • Check progress regularly. The dashboard card gives you a quick status update every time you sign in.
  • Adjust mid-season if needed. Goals are not locked -- update them anytime as your family's availability or plans change.
