Update your family information

Family

Your family profile contains your personal information, student roster, workers, and associated organizations. Keeping this information up to date ensures accurate event assignments and scholarship eligibility.

Access your profile

  1. Log in to StandShare.
  2. Click your name or profile icon in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.
  3. Select Profile from the dropdown menu, or navigate directly to the Family Profile page.

The profile page is divided into several sections: your personal information card, the student roster, your family's workers, organizations, and account settings.

Edit your personal information

  1. On the Family Profile page, scroll to the Personal Information section.
  2. Click the Edit Profile button at the bottom of the section.
  3. Update any of the following fields:
    • First Name and Last Name
    • Email
    • Phone
    • Street Address, City, State, and ZIP Code
    • Emergency Contact name and phone number
  4. Click Save Changes to apply your updates.
  5. A green confirmation banner confirms that your profile was updated successfully.

To discard your changes, click Cancel instead.

Add a student to your family

The Student Roster section tracks the students (children or dependents) associated with your family. Students must be registered here before you can submit scholarship requests on their behalf.

  1. In the Student Roster section, click + Add Student.
  2. Fill in the required fields:
    • Student Name -- The full name of the student.
    • Date of Birth -- Optional, but used to calculate scholarship eligibility (students over 26 are marked as ineligible).
    • Activity/Program -- The extracurricular activity the student participates in (e.g., Dance, Football, Cheer).
  3. Click Add Student to save.
tip

If a student's date of birth indicates they are over 26 years old, they will be marked with an Ineligible badge. This is based on organization rules for scholarship eligibility.

Remove a student

  1. In the Student Roster section, find the student you want to remove.
  2. Click the Remove link to the right of their entry.
  3. The student is removed immediately.

Manage your family's workers

The Family Workers section lists every person who can work concession stand events on your family's behalf — whether they have their own StandShare login or not. This section replaces the older "Guest Members" list.

Each row shows the worker's name, email (when available), and a credential status badge:

BadgeWhat it means
RegisteredThe worker has a StandShare login. They can sign in and see their own events, credentials, and training.
InvitedA registration link has been sent but the worker has not completed sign-up yet.
No LoginYou added them as a worker but they have no login. Fine for occasional helpers — or send them a registration link later.

For a walkthrough of adding, editing, and removing workers — and inviting them to register — see Manage your family's workers. If a worker has lost access to their account or needs a password reset, see Manage worker credentials.

Associate an organization

The Organization/Program section links your family to the organizations or programs your students participate in (e.g., a dance studio or sports team).

  1. In the Organization/Program section, type the name of the organization in the search field.
  2. Matching organizations appear in a dropdown. Click on the correct one to add it.
  3. If the organization does not exist yet, click + Create New or select + Add "[name]" as New Organization from the dropdown.
  4. Fill in the organization details:
    • Organization Name (required)
    • Type (e.g., Dance Studio, Sports Team)
    • Email, Phone, and Address (optional)
  5. Click Create Organization to save and associate it with your family.

To remove an associated organization, click the Remove button next to it in the Associated Organizations list.
