Update your profile and preferences

Your profile controls your personal contact information and how StandShare communicates with you. You can update your name, email, phone number, and notification preferences at any time.


Access Profile Settings

  1. Sign in to StandShare.
  2. Click your name or avatar in the top-right corner of the page.
  3. Click Profile (or Settings) from the dropdown menu.
  4. The Profile tab is selected by default.

Edit Your Name

  1. On the Profile tab, locate the Full Name field.
  2. Click the field and update your name.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Your display name updates immediately across the platform.


Change Your Email Address

Changing your email address will affect how you sign in. A verification email is sent to the new address before the change takes effect.

  1. On the Profile tab, locate the Email Address field.
  2. Click Change Email.
  3. Enter your new email address.
  4. Enter your current password (or complete an MFA prompt if enabled) to confirm the change.
  5. Click Send Verification Email.
  6. Check your new inbox for a verification message from StandShare.
  7. Click the link in the email to confirm the new address.

Your email is updated once you verify the new address.


Add or Update Your Phone Number

A phone number is optional but may be used by your organization for emergency contact or scheduling purposes.

  1. On the Profile tab, locate the Phone Number field.
  2. Click the field and enter or update your phone number in the format +1 (555) 000-0000.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Manage Notification Preferences

Notification preferences control which emails and in-app alerts StandShare sends to you.

  1. On the Profile page, click the Notifications tab.
  2. Review the list of notification categories.

Change a Notification Setting

  1. Toggle the Email or In-App switch next to the notification category you want to change.
  2. Changes are saved automatically.
note

Security and account alerts (such as new sign-in notifications and password changes) cannot be disabled. These are sent for your protection.


Connected Accounts

If you signed up or signed in using a social provider (Google, Microsoft, or Apple), your connected accounts are shown here.

  1. On the Profile page, click the Connected Accounts tab.
  2. You will see any social providers linked to your account.
  3. To link an additional provider, click Connect next to the provider you want to add.
  4. Complete the authorization flow for that provider.

Connecting multiple providers lets you sign in with any of them.
