Manage your family's workers

Family

Anyone who can work a concession stand event on behalf of your family is a worker — whether that is you, a spouse, a sibling, a grandparent, or a family friend. This guide walks family leads through the unified Family Workers panel.

Open the Family Workers Panel

  1. Sign in to StandShare.
  2. Open your avatar menu in the top-right and click Profile.
  3. Scroll to the Family Workers section.

Each row shows the worker's name, email (if on file), and a credential status badge: Registered, Invited, or No Login.

Add a Worker

  1. In the Family Workers section, click + Add Worker.
  2. Fill in the worker's details:
    • Full Name (required).
    • Email Address — optional for a no-login worker, required if you plan to send a registration link.
    • Relationship — optional label (Sibling, Parent, Friend, etc.) that shows in the roster.
  3. Click Add Worker.

The new worker appears in the list with a No Login badge until you send them a registration link (see below).

Sending a registration link turns a no-login worker into a real StandShare user. After they complete sign-up, they can view their own assignments, credentials, and training without bothering the family lead.

  1. Find the worker in the Family Workers list.
  2. Click Send Registration Link.
  3. Confirm the worker's email address in the prompt. If no email is on file, you will be asked to enter one.
  4. Click Send.

StandShare emails the worker a registration link. Their badge changes to Invited while they complete sign-up. Once they finish, it flips to Registered.

tip

If the worker never receives the email, ask them to check spam or junk folders. You can resend the link from the same menu.

Edit a Worker

  1. Click the worker's row to open the Edit Worker modal.
  2. Update the Name, Email, or Relationship as needed.
  3. Click Save.

Add or Change a Worker Photo

For Registered workers, the Edit Worker modal shows an avatar section.

  1. Open Edit Worker.
  2. Click the avatar area, or drag an image onto it.
  3. The photo uploads immediately — no separate save step.
  4. To remove a photo, click Remove Photo.

A purple placeholder shows for workers who have no photo yet. Workers who are not yet Registered do not have an avatar section.

Remove a Worker

  1. In the Family Workers list, open the worker's row.
  2. Click Remove.
  3. Confirm in the prompt.

Removing a worker cancels any future event assignments they had. Past event history remains intact.

Best Practices

  • Keep emails accurate. A worker without an email cannot receive a registration link, password reset, or push notifications.
  • For occasional helpers, "No Login" is fine — they can still be registered for events by the family lead.
  • For anyone who works regularly, send them a registration link so they can see their own schedule.
  • If a worker is also a family lead somewhere else, they can belong to multiple families. Email identifies them uniquely.
