Manage your subscription and billing
StandShare offers multiple subscription tiers to match your organization's needs. The Billing page lets you view your current plan, understand your billing status, compare available plans, and manage payment details.
Accessing Billing
Go to Settings in the sidebar, then select Billing. The billing page is available to organization administrators.
Your Current Plan
At the top of the billing page, the Current Plan card shows:
- Plan name -- Your active subscription tier (for example, "Standard" or "Professional"), displayed in large text.
- Billing status -- A color-coded badge:
- Active (green) -- Your subscription is current and in good standing.
- Trial (amber) -- You are on a free trial period.
- Past Due (red) -- A payment has failed and needs attention.
- Canceled (gray) -- Your subscription has been canceled.
- Base plan -- If your effective tier differs from your base plan (for example, during a trial), both are shown so you know what plan you will revert to when the trial ends.
Trial Period
If your organization is on a trial, a countdown banner appears below the plan name showing:
- Which plan you are trialing.
- How many days remain in the trial.
- The exact expiration date.
The banner turns red when three or fewer days remain. Upgrading during a trial activates your paid plan immediately.
Comparing Plans
Below the current plan card, the Available Plans section shows a comparison table of all subscription tiers available for your organization type. Each tier lists the features included, so you can decide which plan fits your needs.
Upgrading or Changing Your Plan
To upgrade or change your plan, select the Contact us to upgrade button on the billing page. This opens an email to the StandShare team with a pre-filled subject line. The team will help you switch plans and ensure a smooth transition.
Payment Method
The billing details section at the bottom of the page shows your current payment method on file:
- Card brand and last four digits (for example, "Visa ending in 4242").
- Expiration date.
If no payment method is on file, you will see a prompt to add one.
Invoices
The billing details section also lists your recent invoices. Each invoice shows:
- Date -- When the invoice was created.
- Amount -- The amount due and amount paid.
- Status -- Whether the invoice is paid, open, or past due.
Select View Invoice to open the full invoice in a new tab, or Download PDF to save a copy for your records.
Browsing Older Invoices
If you have many invoices, pagination controls let you browse through them page by page.
Pricing Tiers
StandShare offers these subscription tiers:

| Starter | Essential features for small organizations just getting started. |
| Basic | Core features for organizations running regular events. |
| Standard | Full feature set for growing organizations. |
| Professional | Advanced features including analytics and priority support. |
| Full | Complete access to all StandShare features. |
| Enterprise | Custom pricing and features for large-scale operations. |
Feature availability varies by tier. Some features display a "locked" indicator when they require a higher plan.
Feature Gates
If you try to access a feature that is not included in your current plan, you will see an upgrade prompt explaining which plan includes that feature. These prompts appear as overlay messages or banners within the app.
Tips
- Review your plan before your trial expires to avoid losing access to premium features.
- Keep your payment method up to date to prevent service interruptions.
- Download invoices regularly for your organization's financial records.
- If you are unsure which plan is right for you, use the plan comparison table to see exactly which features are included at each tier.
